Thanksgiving Day
CCD children dressed up as pilgrims and Native Americans for the first Thanksgiving and participated in the Thanksgiving Mass at 9 am.
It is a wonderful and educational way to help them understand the historical significance of this event as they learn a deeper appreciation of the empathy and respect we all should have for different cultures. This not only provides them with a historical perspective but also encourages them to reflect on the importance of gratitude as Christians.
Through this experience, they can learn about the hardships faced by the Pilgrims and natives of the time and the gratitude they expressed to God for the blessings they received. This activity serves as a meaningful reminder to us all to cultivate a thankful heart and appreciate the abundant blessings in our own lives.
